About Goli Village Trust

After the devastating 7.8 earthquake of 25th April 2015 and subsequent multiple aftershocks, life in Nepal for many has changed dramatically.

Goli Geptchuk in Solukhumbu, Nepal is the village my husband Dawa Chhiri Sherpa was born and brought up in. His family and friends still live there and he visits regularly. Many of the properties of the Goli area were seriously damaged or destroyed. The people were initially unable to return to their homes. The GOLI VILLAGE TRUST was born out of our desire to help.
